Organizing a meeting is quite simple these days. The face to face meetings have been replaced by audio conference calls. These calls have so many advantages when compared to a normal face to face meeting. But for conducting an audio conference call you have to do some home work before it. You have to make a list of all the topics that you intend to discuss during the conference and plan it accordingly with the time to be spent for that particular one and follow it strictly.
The person who will be logging into the conference by punching in the moderator code will act as the moderator and he has the complete control over the conference. Before you proceed with audio conference calling you need to have a permanent dial in number, a moderator code and conferee code, which are must to make a conference call. You have to pass on the corresponding codes to all the participants with the codes and the time of the conference.
The methods in which you set up a conference call vary between the different service providers you use, and what type of conference call you are using. There are three main types of conference calls.
The most common conference call is reservationless conference calls. The name itself tells you that it is a reservation less call and there is no need for you to book the conference call in advance. Operator assisted conference calls lets you have an operator on hand for things such as recording the conversation, using moderator commands such as sub conferencing and broadcasting, and monitoring the conference overall. Operator dialed conference calls allow for more interaction with the individual members of the call. The operator will dial out to each participant at your reserved time, and add them manually into the conference.
